How It Works...

  • Classes meet once a week for 40 minutes.
  • Swimmers are grouped based on age and comfort level in the water, details on class set-up can be found by clicking here.
  • The first class is a trial class.
  • Each class, including the trial class, is $46; we are unable to credit or refund for missed lessons.
  • Tuition is processed on the first of each month, for the number of lessons in that month.
  • Our enrollment is perpetual, meaning your spot is yours on a continuous basis with no need to re-enroll. If you would like to cancel, we simply require a 4 week written notice via email (info@imagineswimming.com).
  • Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

How to Register...

  • We ask that all new and returning students begin by filling out our Registration Query on the bottom of homepage. This pre-registration form is the first step in us being able to find the right class for your child.

 

Registration

Can I sign up for classes at any time?

Yes! Classes often fill up fast, and remain that way throughout the school year, but if there is an opening in an appropriate class, then you can sign up at any point in the year.

Is there a registration fee?

No, we do not charge any sort of registration fee.

Do you have a waiting list?

No, we do not keep a waiting list. Should we not have a suitable class for your child at the time of inquiry, we invite you to continue to email us at info@imagineswimming.com or call our main office at 212.253.9650.  We realize this is a bit like a popular restaurant that does not take reservations, however, we have found that this is the fastest way to accommodate every interested family.

How do I discontinue enrollment?

To discontinue classes, Imagine Swimming requires 30 Days’ notice, via email to info@imagineswimming.com.  Of course, Imagine Swimming will be happy to make exceptions for extenuating circumstances such as moving, injury, or extended illness on an individual basis.

What happens if my child breaks their arm and they need to stay out of the water for an extended period of time?

We completely understand that these things happen.   We ask that you fax us a note from the doctor and we will hold your spot for up to 4 weeks.  Should your child need to be out of the water more than 4 weeks, Imagine Swimming reserves the right to place your child in a class that is best suited for their current condition.  Our fax number is 646.496.9143 Please note this is for serious illness or injury only.  

At what point is my child’s class reservation confirmed?

Your child’s class reservation is confirmed once you have provided payment details and your child has been placed in a class.  At the conclusion of every sign up, you will receive a detailed confirmation email with a link to our waiver. 

What if we want to stop and take a break from swim lessons?

Please log on to your Parent Portal to discontinue your lessons. Please note that once you release your spot, we cannot guarantee it will be available should you want to return at a later date.

Can I put my lessons on hold for the summer?

Please log on to your Parent Portal to put your classes On Hold. Please note that the On Hold feature is only available during the summer between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Registration: Billing

How does Imagine Swimming bill for classes?

Tuition is billed in the beginning of each month and on a perpetual basis.  Your day, time and location are reserved until you choose to switch any of these specifications, or until you decide you would like to discontinue your enrollment. All holidays and 'no class' days are deducted accordingly.  Any class credits given to your family will be reflected in the next month’s tuition. 

What are my payment options?

We offer three different payment options: 1. Credit/debit card  2. Check  3. Cash  

We accept American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discovery. 

Please note that if you elect to pay via check or cash, we require 3 months payment in advance.   Please mail checks payable to Imagine Swimming.

Please submit cash payments to your Pool Attendant in a sealed envelope with your child’s full name, date and amount in envelope. 

What is your refund policy?

Imagine Swimming does not issue refunds. All credits given are class credits, which are posted to your family’s account and can be used at any time.
