Angel was born and raised on Long Island. At the age of four, he learned to swim at the ocean beaches from Robert Moses State Park to the North Shore with his family. He continued swimming in the open waters of Long Island until joining the Central Islip High School varsity swim team. Angel continued his education at New York University for his undergraduate degree, majoring in Music and minoring in Education. He aspires to further his musical education through graduate programs in the city, hoping to continue writing music while studying how and in what way music affects people and how it can be used to help them.
