Jace hails from Vallejo, California, in the San Francisco Bay area, where he learned to swim at the John F. Cunningham Aquatic Facility. He quickly became a dedicated swimmer and water polo player, going on to compete at both the club (Benicia Stingrays) and high school (Benicia High) levels, and making waves in county and state competitions. Before moving to New York for college, Jace worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor, where he first discovered his passion for teaching. He loves connecting with kids and helping them grow into confident, happy swimmers. Outside the pool, Jace is a devoted big brother to six younger siblings, a Nintendo and Pokémon enthusiast, and an avid pick-up soccer player. Currently, he’s preparing for law school, but no matter where life takes him, the water will always feel like home.
