Dylan was born in New York City, where he learned to swim from a young age, before his family moved to Minnesota during grade school. In addition to swimming for his high school team all four years, Dylan swam on Aquajets, long regarded as one of the top club swim teams in America. In the summers, Dylan coached for country club teams throughout his time in Minnesota. After graduating, he attended Tufts University in Boston where he earned his BA in Film and Media Studies. At Tufts, Dylan was a sprint specialist on the Varsity swim team and also taught lessons throughout his undergraduate years. When he's not in the pool, Dylan is busy pursuing his dream career of becoming a screenwriter.
