Isaac was born in San Diego, but raised in London from a young age. He began formal swim lessons at age five and took to the water instantly. He started to swim competitively when he was 10 years old and continued to compete until he was 17. As a competitive swimmer through those formative years, he notes that the sport instilled essential life lessons -- including the priceless qualities of perseverance, discipline, and resilience. Swimming also gave him the opportunity to travel and compete throughout England, broadening his horizons as he pursued his aquatic goals. After moving on from his racing days, Isaac earned his lifeguard certifications and was soon teaching lessons.
