Isabella took her first swim lessons at age five when she was living in Acapulco, Mexico. Returning stateside, she continued her aquatic education and was soon training competitively in Iowa with the Mariners Swim Club. She swam her first race at seven-years-old and has been competing ever since! During her teenage years, Isabella went to high school in Sacramento, California, where she qualified for the Regional Championships in the 50 freestyle during her junior year. She moved east for college and studied Politics, Philosophy, and Economics at The King's College, NY, where she also earned a minor in International Relations. She also played volleyball for her college, swam during her free time, and has worked as a Lifeguard since age 18. Isabella loves reading and music -- she learned the flute in middle school and still plays the saxophone today!
