A native New Yorker, Joe has been swimming since he was six years old. Growing up on Staten Island, he started swimming competitively for his grammar school as well as the local swim club, Hillside, during the summers. Joe then attended Curtis High School where he was on the swim team all four years. He went on to St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights, where Imagine has long offered weekend lessons. At St. Francis, he pursued his degree in Public Relations and Advertising; joined the Terrier's swim team; and also taught swimming for three years. Joe's sister Clare was a beloved teacher with Imagine before continuing her career in an elementary school classroom in Williamsburg. Now Imagine is lucky to welcome the second Masullo to the family!
