Lucas began swimming in his hometown of Yorktown, VA on his high school swim team, and he quickly made waves, earning a spot on the NCAA Baruch College Men’s Swimming and Diving team. Lucas competed in Free/Breast in the 50 Free, 100 Free, and 100 Breast. A finance major at Baruch College, Lucas is driven by the desire to give young swimmers the early start he wishes he had. His teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that swimming is not just a skill but a gateway to exciting water adventures. Lucas's enthusiasm is infectious, and he delights in every moment spent in the pool with his students. Outside of swimming, he enjoys hiking, cooking, and exploring New York City. Fun fact: Lucas has been swimming for just over two years and already earned the CUNY athletics rookie of the year award!
