Michael learned how to swim at a young age, inspired by watching his dad. Growing up with a pool at home, his dad lent constant support and encouragement as he began his aquatic journey. When Michael reached his sophomore year of high school, he joined the school swim team and competed through his senior year, specializing in the 200 free, the 100 breast, and the 200 IM. He went on to attend George Mason University and earned his Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Law, and Society, with a minor in Forensic Psychology. Michael aspires to travel the world and ultimately use his education to build a career in law enforcement, where he can make a meaningful impact and advance in the field. In his free time, he enjoys staying active by going to the gym, playing video games, and indulging in his love for anime.
