A native of Bucaramanga, Colombia, Ricardo learned to swim in a local pool and later honed his skills as a competitive swimmer with the Los Delfines swim club. He holds both undergraduate and master's degrees in mathematics from the Industrial University of Santander. Inspired by his rewarding experiences as a math teacher at the university, Ricardo enjoys sharing his knowledge and guiding others through the learning process. He finds immense satisfaction in witnessing the progress of his students, particularly the unique learning journeys of young children. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, working out, exploring NYC's diverse landscapes, and spending time with his family.
