Samantha comes from Sacramento, California, where her love for swimming began at the Arden Manor Recreation and Park District. As a longtime member of their club team, the Arden Manor Pirates, her passion for the sport gradually transitioned into coaching -- a journey that started in high school and continues today. With a BFA in Integrated Performing Arts from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, Samantha brings creativity and enthusiasm to her teaching. As the assistant aquatic director at Camp Hillard in Scarsdale, NY, she thrives on sharing her aquatic passion with young swimmers and finding innovative ways to engage them. Outside the pool, Samantha participates in Swim Across America events, raising funds for cancer research. When she's not swimming, she enjoys reading, hiking, and pursuing her dreams in the performing arts.
